Annabelle Crawford

Annabelle Crawford Rock, 90, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, in Cleveland.

She was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Kittanning, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Josephine Crawford. She was the oldest child of 10 children. Her friends and family called her Annie. She was named after her grandmother, Annabelle Gray.

Annabelle grew up next to her grandparents farm in Kittanning. She also lived in Lairds Crossing, West Winfield, Brackenridge and Cleveland for the last 61 years. She was of Catholic faith and member of St. Francis Church on East 71 Street. She enjoyed vacationing in Pennsylvania with her sisters and family.

Annabelle worked at the Butler Hot Dog Shop and Nicholes Lamp Shade Factory in Ohio.

Annabelle is survived by her three children, John Goepfert and his wife, Terry of Butler, Debi Rock of Cleveland, and Steve Rock and his wife, Sonya of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Jodie Goepfert Christie, John David Goepfert, Steven Rock, and Jason Workman; three great-grandchildren, Tucker Christie, Caden Christie and Lucy Workman; three sisters, Bertha Zema. Jeanne Koller, Linda Heim; a brother, Mark Crawford and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sharon Crawford, and Betty Crawford Frantz; brothers, William, Paul and Larry Crawford; and grandchild, Jamie Goepfert.

Rock — A memorial service will be held at a future date for Annabelle Crawford Rock who died Friday, March 5, 2021.

Arrangements are under the direction of Malloy-Esposito Crematory & Funeral Home, Cleveland, Ohio.
