These items are collected from various police departments:

April 7 — Police arrested Anita L. Workman, 77, of Carmichael, on multiple felony retail theft charges filed in January.Police said Workman and an unidentified man picked a kitchen light fixture and air compressor off shelves at Lowes in Cranberry Township, and brought them to the customer service desk.Police said the couple sought a refund for the unowned items, and they were issued a credit card worth $444 for the items. According to the documents, Workman has two previous convictions for retail theft.

April 6 — Britney J. Boring, 29, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a March 5 traffic stop on Old Route 8.Police stopped Boring for a number of violations, including speeding and crossing lines. They said field sobriety tests indicated Boring was impaired.Documents show a later blood test showed Boring's blood-alcohol content at 0.093%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.

April 7 — Michael J. Dittmer, 42, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from an incident in the Taco Bell parking lot in Slippery Rock.According to documents, police were dispatched to the parking lot for a report of an intoxicated driver. Police said they spotted Dittmer inside a truck matching the description of the report.Police said field sobriety testing indicated Dittmer was impaired, and a later breath test also indicated the presence of alcohol. According to documents, Dittmer had blood drawn for further testing, the results of which were unavailable in the affidavit.April 7 — William C. Foster, 54, of Greenville, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from Nov. 29 traffic stop on Main Street in Slippery Rock.According to documents, police stopped Foster for a broken brake light. Police said during the stop, they smelled alcohol and saw a case of Busch beer in the back seat.According to police, field sobriety testing indicated Foster was impaired, and a later blood test was taken, but the results of were not available.April 7 — Dahvie D. Austin-Montgomery, 19, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a Dec. 11 traffic stop on Cornish Drive in Slippery Rock.According to documents, police stopped Austin-Montgomery for a broken brake light. Police said they smelled marijuana as they approached the vehicle, and during a search found 17 individual packages of marijuana.According to documents, Austin-Montgomery showed impairment during field sobriety tests and was taken for blood testing, the results of which were not available in the affidavit.April 7 — Jermain C. Wynn Jr., 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a Feb. 28 traffic stop on Franklin Street in Slippery Rock.According to documents, police stopped Wynn for swerving in his lane and crossing lines. Police said a check on Wynn's credentials noted he had suspended driving privileges.Police said field sobriety tests indicated Wynn was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in his system.

2:06 p.m. April 3 — Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Police said James H. Chase, 78, of North Towanda, N.Y., crashed into a guardrail and his vehicle rolled over after his trailer began to wobble. Police cited Chase for safety requirements for towed vehicles.Police said one juvenile passenger had a minor cut and was treated at the scene by Slippery Rock EMS. Slippery Rock and Portersville fire departments assisted with traffic control, which had closed both northbound lanes.

April 7 — Jahmeir D. Crockett, 19, of Erie, was charged with a second-offense DUI stemming from a March 18 traffic stop on Route 422.According to documents, police stopped Crockett for speeding. Police said Crockett admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle about one hour before the stop. A sandwich bag of suspected marijuana was seized.According to documents, Crockett refused to be taken to the hospital for blood testing, and after his arrest he refused a second time to blood testing.April 7 — Jeffrey C. Gadley, 32, of Cranberry, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a March 27 traffic stop on Centerville Pike in Brady Township.According to documents, police stopped Gadley for crossing lines. Police said Gadley admitted to drinking before driving. Police said Gadley appeared impaired during field sobriety tests.According to documents, later breath tests showed Gadley's blood-alcohol content at 0.133%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.April 6 — Tory E. McCoy, 22, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment stemming from a domestic dispute the same day.Police said they responded to a home on Dogwood Drive in Franklin Township. When they arrived, they spoke with McCoy, who admitted to arguing with her boyfriend, which then escalated.According to police, McCoy also admitted that during the argument she shot her 9 mm pistol into a wall inside the home. Police said two children, ages 11 and 10, were inside or near the home at the time the shot was fired.12:44 p.m. April 5 — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.Police said the unidentified driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette struck the side of a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox while trying to merge. The driver was cited for failing to yield. No injuries were reported.6:38 p.m. April 4 — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 228 in Clinton Township.Police said Amy S. Signorella, 56, of Natrona, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Dylan J. Bauer, 20, of Cabot. No one was injured in the crash. Signorella was cited for following too closely.7:50 a.m. April 2 — Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Shearer Road in Oakland Township.Police said Zane S. Perry, 30, of Butler, had crashed his 2008 Honda Accord into a tree, and then he fled from the scene on foot.Anyone with information is asked to contact the barracks at 724-284-8100.3:55 p.m. April 1 — Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Euclid Road in Clay Township.Police said Mark E. Hauserman, 26, of Butler, swerved across the road in his vehicle to avoid hitting a deer and hit a tree.Police said a passerby stopped and gave Hauserman a ride, and Hauserman failed to notify police of the accident. Hauserman was cited for the accident.4:29 p.m. March 30 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.Police said Leon D. Merhaut, 20, of Pittsburgh, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Lindsay A. Sebesta, 38, of Zelienople. Police cited Merhaut for following too closely.Police said no one was injured in the crash. Merhaut's vehicle was towed from the scene.3:39 p.m. March 30 — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Franklin Township.Police said Jeanne D. Wilson, 86, of Butler, was following too closely and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Christopher Blaisdell, 22, of Prospect, which sent his vehicle into a third vehicle driven by Lawrence J. Tomasi, 62, of New Brighton.Police cited Wilson with a traffic violation and cited Blaisdell for not having his vehicle registered. According to police, Wilson was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.11:33 p.m. March 23 — Police responded to Vineyard Circle in Slippery Rock Township to a request for protection from abuse violation.Police said they arrested a 25-year-old Grove City man for violating a PFA held by a 19-year-old Cranberry Township woman.11:44 a.m. March 20 — Police cited a 20-year-old Portersville man with harassment for physically accosting a 20-year-old woman from Portersville.12:49 p.m. Feb. 19 — Police responded to a report of items stolen from multiple storage lockers on Cemetery Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said two motorcycles were stolen from one of the storage units.Anyone with information is asked to contact the barracks at 724-284-8100.
