Shelvia Lineen Brothers, 66, of Aliquippa passed away Sunday morning, March 7, 2021, in the comfort of her home.

Born Nov. 4, 1954, in Sand Patch, Pa., she was a daughter of Allen J. Weimer and the late Mary A. (Petenbrink) Weimer. She had lived in Butler for 15 years, and Phoenix, Ariz. for 46 years.

Shelvia had worked for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation as an ITC communication specialist for 24 years, retiring in December of 2014.

She enjoyed cross stitch, reading and ceramics.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Gail Brothers, whom she married Dec. 19, 2018; one daughter, Tracy (Tim) McKernan; her stepchildren, Stacey, Thomas and Curtis Brothers; her grandchildren, Clinton, Ryan, McKayla, Rachael and Wyatt; her father, Allen Weimer; her brothers, Lin Weimer and Ricky (Betty Jane) Weimer; her nieces and nephew, Missy, Heather and Shawn; her sisters-in-law, Sandra Lee and Sally Reges; and her brother-in-law, Robert (Ellen) Brothers.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Troy Blair; and her brother Paul Weimer.

BROTHERS — Friends of Shelvia Lineen Brothers, who died Sunday, March 7, 2021, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
