Sherman Wilhite Jr.
Sherman H. Wilhite Jr., 88, of Prospect passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at his residence.
He was born June 18, 1932, in Reydell, Ark., the son of the late Sherman Henry Wilhite Sr. and Edith (Spade) Wilhite.
Sherman was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during Vietnam. He was also retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he worked on their communication system and security.He liked music and playing guitar, and had played in local band. He also liked fishing and traveling.Surviving are his son, Robert (Donna) Wilhite of Prospect; a daughter, Sharon Prinzi of Cleveland, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Watson) Wilhite; a son; and a daughter.WILHITE — Military honors for Sherman H.
