Gary Lee Brown
Gary Lee Brown, 72, of Butler passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 15, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of the late George Brown and Ruthella (Gist) Brown.
Gary graduated from Butler High School in Vandalia, Ohio, and then from the University of Dayton, with a degree in communications and journalism.
He had a wonderful and fulfilling career in sales management.
He was a beloved and adoring father of two children, in addition to being a treasured husband.
A veteran of the Vietnam War era, Gary served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Bartolini Brown, whom he married in 2008; his son, Major Matthew J. (Rachel) Brown, U.S. Army stationed at Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, N.Y.; his daughter, Adrienne (Jamal) Merza of St. Augustine, Fla.; five beautiful grandchildren; and a sister, Cathy (Brian) Fletcher.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a grandson, Cole.
