Ronald J. Rishack

Ronald J. Rishack, 83, of Evans City, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.

Born Jan. 7, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John F. Rishack and Helen Margaret Winkler Rishack.

Ron started and operated his own business, Central Radio and TV Repair, in the North Side of Pittsburgh. He retired from Marburger Farm Dairy after over 27 years.

He was a past member of Alhambra, a 3rd/4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and an extraordinary minister for several years. He was also a member of the Evans City Senior Center, and a leader of the drum circle.

In his free time, Ron enjoyed camping, farming and gardening. Above all, he loved his family, his friends and Jesus.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 57 years, Judith L. Welsh Rishack, whom he married Oct. 12, 1963; his children, Christopher (Paula) Rishack and Susan (Timothy) Barczy; his grandchildren, Seth and Madison; his honorary family member, Curt (Marianne) Swartzwelder; and his beloved granddog, Jupiter.

RISHACK — A Mass of Christian burial for Ronald J. Rishack, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2021, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.

Interment will be private.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in Ron’s honor to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
