John Eagal

John E. Eagal, 60, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 4, 1960, in Butler, the son of the late John L. and Kathleen (Hindman) Kimmell.

John retired from Butler County ARC, where he was a floor supervisor. He belonged to East Butler Volunteer Fire Company, where he was an EMT. He also volunteered many years at the Oneida Valley Fire Department. He was a master mason of Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 540 and belonged to Fire and Iron Station 342. He loved hunting, trips with his bike club and most of all spending time with his granddaughters.

Surviving are his daughter, Cristen (Garrett) Fend of Butler; three granddaughters, Haylee, McKenzie and Bellamy Fend, all of Butler; a brother, Shane Eagal of Butler, and a nephew, Soren Eagal of Butler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Jacquelyn (Douthett) Eagal, who passed away on April 8, 2016.

Eagal — A memorial service with Masonic services for John E. Eagal, who died Saturday, March 27, 2021, will be held at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private.
