Improved Preston Park reopening on June 2
Butler Township will display the improvements made to Preston Park during a reopening presentation at 9:30 a.m. June 2.
Since last August, the township has added a one-way loop through the park beginning at the new entrance near the iron gates on South Eberhart Road, a four-unit restroom accessible to people with disabilities, a drinking water fountain with a bottle filler, a pond with a fountain and more parking.
The township received grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Department of Community and Economic Development to help fund the improvements.
