Molly Haughey

Molly A. Haughey, 77, of Polk, Pa., passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at UPMC Northwest Hospital.

Born Dec. 6, 1943, in Tonawanda, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Delehanty) Haughey and moved to Butler in 1952.

Molly attended St. Paul School and Butler Area Schools. Molly has been a resident of Polk Center since 1980 and enjoyed her life there. She enjoyed daily walking about the grounds and talking with residents and staff. She looked forward to going to lunch at Laurie’s Cafe, a short walk from her cottage. During spring and summer she would help in the nursery potting flowering plants for the gardens at Polk Center.

She is survived by her brother, Greg Haughey of Butler, three nephews and three nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Haughey of Butler.

Haughey — A private burial for Molly A. Haughey, who died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, was held at Calvary Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be held in July 2021.
