Edward Ketchem

Edward Dean Ketchem, 64, passed away at his home on March 27, 2021, in New York City, where he had lived for the past 35 years.

He was born in Oct. 7, 1956, in Butler, and was the son of the late William and Josephine (Reader) Ketchem.

Edward was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.He went to Butler High School.Edward worked as a general tradesman.He was a big New York Yankees fan, and even got to see and talk to Yogi Berra.Edward was the father of Isabel Osorio, Nicole Genoval and Eden Herring, all of New York City; and the brother of William A. (Diana) Ketchem of Butler, Catherine (Kenneth) Bronder of Butler, Denise (Gary) Tipton of Cranberry Township, and Brenda Ketchem of St. Petersburg, Fla.He is also survived by two granddaughters, three grandsons, five nieces, three nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Sorg.He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family. Rest in peace.KETCHEM — A private burial service for Edward Dean Ketchem, who died Saturday, March 27, 2021, will be held at Butler County Memorial Park.Arrangements are under the direction of SPENCER D.
