Dolores Brady
Dolores “Dee” Brady, 93, of Butler, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her residence at New Haven Court in Butler.
Born Nov. 22, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Coghe) Yeschke.
Dee was a high school graduate of Schenley High School.
She was employed as a secretary at Butler County Community College in the registration department.
Dee was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she faithfully and joyfully served in many capacities in her church.
She left a legacy to her family and friends of God’s amazing love and grace. Dee loved to love on people. She touched and blessed the lives of everyone she knew. Dee had a gift for making everyone feel special.
Surviving are four sons and one daughter, James Brady and his wife, Jean, of Cochranton, David Brady and his wife, Gaynell, of Evans City, Wayne Brady of Medford, Ore., Rebecca Watterson of Butler, and Matthew Brady and his wife, Vicki, of Evans City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Karakis of Bridgeville; and a brother, Walter Yeschke of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Brady, who died March 7, 2012; her son-in-law, Bill Watterson; and her sister, Grace Adams.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation and thank you to the staff at Newhaven Court, for the wonderful care they gave her.
BRADY — There will be no public viewing for Dolores “Dee” Brady, who died Sunday, May 16, 2021.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crossfire Church, 1802 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, with the Rev. David Janz officiating.
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
