Betty N. Conely

Betty N. Conely, 98, of Butler, formerly of Mars and Observatory Hill, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 25, 2021, at Concordia of Cabot.

Born Oct. 28, 1922, in McMechen, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Elizabeth Stewart Lutes.

Betty had worked as a secretary for various companies.

She attended St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

Surviving are her son, John Conely (Patricia Trimbur) of Economy; her daughter, Marjorie Kollinger (Paul Sr.) of Butler; her grandchildren, Mark and John (Kris) Kollinger, Melissa Kitner, and Johnny (Molly) Conely III; her great-grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Kollinger, Ella Kitner and Josephine Conely; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambert F. Conely, whom she married on June 30, 1946, and who died on Nov. 11, 2011; her sisters, Verna Lutes, Lucille Francis, Ruth Durrett and Doris Logsdon; and her grandson, Paul Kollinger Jr.

CONELY — Friends of Betty N. Conely, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeannine Sanford A.I.M. officiating.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
