Ruth E. Rumin

Ruth E. Rumin, 96, of Saxonburg, passed away on May 26, 2021, at her home.

Born Oct. 11, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Jones and Sadie McGonigle Jones.

Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, going to lunch with her friends the “lunch bunch,” going to the casino, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Elaine Olczak of Saxonburg, and Sally (Steve) Krueger of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; her brother, Richard Jones; her grandchildren, Christine Olczak and Timothy (Megan) Olczak; and her great-grandson, Bobby Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Rumin, who passed away on Nov. 13, 1987; her son-in-law, Jim Olczak; and her sister, Mary Lou Sullivan.

RUMIN — A memorial gathering for Ruth E. Rumin, who died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, will be held from 11 a.m. until noon Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A brief prayer will follow at noon.
