Martha Jane Heck

Martha Jane Heck, 97, of Butler, passed away at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 3, 1924, in Claytonia, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Emmert) Vidmar.

Martha was a member of Nixon United Methodist Church, and attended Community Alliance Church.

She loved to bake, loved dogs, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Costa of Frisco, Texas, and Rebecca (Dana) Miller of Cranberry Township; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Delores Herrit of Butler; two nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Heck; and her brother, Joseph Vidmar.

HECK — A celebration of life for Martha Jane Heck, who died Saturday, May 29, 2021, will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with her nephew, Dennis Herritt officiating.

Interment will be private.
