Kimiko Hunt
Kimiko “Kim” Hunt of Kiester Road, Slippery Rock, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital. Kim was 64 years old.
Born July 11, 1956, in Sobe, Okinawa, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Robert Donald Flowers and Yoshiko Matsumora Flowers.
She married Donald Keith Hunt on Aug. 31, 1974, and together they lived a relaxed and happy life at Slippery Rock Creek.
Kim was a registered nurse, and enjoyed gardening and art. She loved all creatures, and was a free spirit, having kindness to all that she met.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons, Jamie (Jacquelyn) Hunt of Emlenton, and Christopher (Maryann) Hunt of New Castle; one sister, Sue Allison of Slippery Rock; and three grandchildren, Lucas, Lillian and Nathaniel Hunt.
HUNT — Visitation for Kimiko “Kim” Hunt, who died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. The Rev. James Lewis will officiate
Interment will follow at South Plain Grove Cemetery, Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County.
