Jack Ordy

Jack “Bo” Ordy passed away March 1, 2021, at the age of 82 in his residence close to his loving daughter, Crissy Ordy Andrulis, and her husband, Ken Andrulis, and his two granddaughters, Ella and Avery.

Bo was a lifelong resident of Butler, until the passing of his wife, Brenda Johnston Ordy, whom he married Aug. 14, 1965, and passed away in 2019.

Bo was an avid bowler and was a member of the Butler Bowling Hall of Fame, having always been known for being the top one or two bowlers in the county.

He enjoyed golfing, biking, baseball, horse racing and watching and cheering for all Pittsburgh sports teams. Most of all, Bo loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

His surviving siblings are Pat (Andy) Potyka, Richard Ordy, Barbara (Tom) Brown, Robert (Sharon) Ordy, Julie Moreland, Marvin (Diana) Ordy and Ron (Kim) Ordy; a brother-in-law, Walt Laskey; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; his mother, Ann; his sister, Jean Laskey; and his sister-in-law, Patty Ordy.

ORDY — A memorial service for Jack “Bo” Ordy, who died Monday, March 1, 2021, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler.

Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bo to the James Cancer Research Center at Ohio State University.
