CRANBERRY TWP — Pastor Billy Burke's Healing Ministry returns to the Doubletree Hotel, 910 Sheraton Drive, for three sessions in late August.

At 7 p.m. Aug. 29, participants can listen and sing along with the ministry's musicians as they open the event with praise music.

At 10:30 a.m. Aug. 30, Burke will hold a teaching session interspersed with healing prayer.

At 7 p.m. Aug. 30, live praise music, testimonies from the previous night and prayer are planned. The crusade concludes at 10 p.m.

There is no charge to attend. A free will offering is accepted at all sessions.

A portion of Route 288 will be closed beginning Monday.PennDOT District 11 announced that the section of Route 288 between Lake Road and Old Furnace Road will be blocked to through traffic starting at 7 a.m. Monday.The $1.59 million construction project, sponsored by the Zelienople Airport Authority, consists of realigning Zelienople Road and Lake Road, vertically lowering Zelienople Road, widening Lake Road, pipe and inlet installation, grading and paving and other miscellaneous work.The overall project is anticipated to conclude in the spring of 2022. Independence Excavating Inc. is the prime contractor.Cars coming from west of the closure should take Old Furnace Road westbound and turn left onto Hartzell School Road, then left on Route 588 until it reaches Route 288. Cars coming from east of the closure should do the same in the opposite direction.Trucks coming from west of the closure should turn left onto Route 65, left onto Route 588 and head to the rest of Route 288. Trucks east of the closure should do the same in the opposite direction as well.Lake Road will also close to traffic between Route 288 and Dutch Road from 7 a.m. Monday continuously through early November. Through traffic will be detoured.
