Mary Lou Rearick
Mary Lou Rearick, 94, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Concordia at the Orchard in Butler.
Born July 26, 1926, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Lois (Fisher) Henshaw.
Mary Lou was a homemaker, and formerly was a secretary at Pullman Standard.
She was a member of Community Alliance Church in Butler. Mary Lou was a former member of her church choir, and was past president of Alliance Women. She was also a former member of the Steering Committee of Connoquenessing M.O.W., and former leader of the Brownies, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Surviving are one son, David Rearick and his wife, Pamela, of Cabot; two daughters, Wendy Bargatze and her husband, Ronald, of White House, Tenn., and Sally Dietrich and her husband, Michael, of Butler; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell L. “Wen” Rearick, whom she married on July 22, 1947, and who passed away on Jan. 6, 2020; and one brother.
REARICK — Friends of Mary Lou Rearick, who died Wednesday, June 23, 2021, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler.
The funeral service will be held immediately following at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Dr. Dennis L. Krajacic officiating.
A private burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Lou to Good Samaritan Hospice, 116 Browns Hill Road, Valencia, PA 16059.
