James G. “Griz” Adams
James G. “Griz” Adams, 81, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
He was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Butler, and was the son of the late James N. Adams and Virginia Kuminkoski.
James was employed with PennDOT, and retired after almost 20 years of service.
He enjoyed playing bingo and savoring life. He especially cherished the company of his family and friends.
James was the father of Steven (Laurie) Adams, Dave Adams, Sheri (Scott) McMaster, James (Kelly) Kerr, Debra (Phil) Geibel, Susan (James) Black and Linda Kerr; and the brother of Arlene Kuminkoski.
He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Puskar) Adams, who passed away in 2020 after 45 years of marriage; and his beloved grandson, Bryan Kerr-Barnhart.
