Chriss Neibar Jr.

Beloved husband, dad, and pappy, Chriss Fred Neibar Jr., 86, entered Heaven on July 1, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice House.

Chris was born on April 8, 1935, in Canonsburg, to Chriss Fred Neibar Sr. and Leah Stewart. He married Ruth Critchlow on June 28, 1957.

Chris is survived by his wife, Ruth Neibar of Zelienople; his son, Rex (Terry) Neibar of Hummelstown; his daughters, Lisa Neibar of Zelienople, and Melissa (Scott) Root of Bethel Park; a brother, Clark Neibar of Evans City; his grandchildren, Jordon (Amanda) Underwood, Camron Underwood, Shelby Underwood (Jake Jerome), Alex Neibar, Morgan (Zach) Zdunich, Blake Underwood and Kade Root; his great-grandson, Marty Underwood; and many nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Leah Neibar; his brother, David Neibar; and two infant sons, Scott and Glen, who we know escorted him as he journeyed home.

NEIBAR — A viewing for Chriss Fred Neibar Jr., who died Thursday, July 1, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 365 Saw Mill Run Road, Butler.

Burial and a small graveside service at Mars Cemetery will follow the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
