Amy Leda
Amy S. Leda, 60, of Homosassa, Fla., formerly of Saxonburg, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 25, 1960, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Rudolph Markus and Judith Thompson Markus.
Amy was retired from Presbyterian Senior Care, where she had been a night-time nursing supervisor. She enjoyed traveling, having made 40 trips to the Caribbean. She enjoyed crafts, decorating, cooking, snow skiing and loved her dog, Luna.
Surviving are her husband, David Leda, a Fawn Boy, whom she married Dec. 1, 1990, at Roebling Park in Saxonburg, her parents of Butler; her children, Charles “CJ” (Angie) George of Vandergrift, Rudy V. (Christine) George of Butler, Brok (Kelsie) Leda of Brackenridge, Alaina (Hieu J. Pham) Leda of Pittsburgh, Lindsay (Jermaine Hughley) Leda of West Lebanon, Pa. and Jarrod (Ashley Christine) Leda of W. Tarentum; and nine grandchildren, Caleb, Christopher, Nathan, Arianna, Madison, Donavan, Kazzy, Bellamy and Lucas.
Leda — Friends of Amy S. Leda, who died Saturday, July 3, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a Blessing Service at 7 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.
