Anna Cranmer
Anna Margaret Morrison Cranmer, 93, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the Grove Manor Nursing Center in Grove City.
Born March 20, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Francis “Pete” and Cecilia (Geibel) Morrison.
She retired from the Bon-Ton Company and had previously worked in the drapery department at Troutman's Department Store.
She was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assissi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church. Anna was a former member of the Christian Mothers, the East Butler Bowling League and the Century Club.
She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, baking and her Friday hair salon days. Anna was especially known for her double-boiler icing cakes and Boston Creme pies that she baked for the Friday fish fries at St. Mary's church. She was a meticulous housekeeper and worked hard at keeping her home just so.
Surviving are her children and grandchildren, Kenneth (Gail) Cranmer and their children, Kevin, Dustin and Casey; David (Clara) Cranmer of Elizabeth, Pa. and their children, Erin and Ashlee; Sharon (John) Bopp of Butler and their children, Nathan, Colleen and Leah; Susan (Ward) Quinlan and their children, Maggi, Bryant, Derek and Kyle; Ralph Cranmer and his children, Benjamin and Nichole.
Also surviving are sisters Cecelia Jackson and Norberta Mae Duffy, sisters-in-law Ruth Cypher and Marilyn Cranmer and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, F. William Cranmer, who passed away Jan. 22, 2021; her sisters, Mary Katherine Kienzle, Hilda Morrison and Frances O'Neill; and her brothers, Bernard and Edward Morrison.

Cranmer — Family and friends of Anna Margaret Morrison Cranmer, who died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, will be received from 10 a.m. until noon at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
