Ellen A. Goldinger

Ellen A. Goldinger, 63, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 30, 1957, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Jack F. and Ellen (Smith) Carroll.

She was a high school graduate and a graduate of Butler County Community College in the nursing program.

Ellen was employed as an RN during her working career. She attended Cabot United Methodist Church, and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, James I. Goldinger Sr., whom she married Jan. 23, 1976, of Butler; daughter, Jacqueline M. Rivers and her husband, Jason, of Butler; son, James I. Goldinger Jr. of Butler; five grandchildren, Isabella, Nicholas, Ava, Dianna and Sophia; brother, James Carroll of the Poconos; and sister, Maxine Peace of Montana.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Angus.

Goldinger — Visitation for Ellen A. Goldinger, who died Wednesday, July 14, 2021, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Fehl of Cabot United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Sagamore, Pa.
