Roskovski turns herself in to prison officials on Wed.

Stephanie Roskovski, 51, of Center Township — who, along with her husband, Scott, embezzled money from Butler Health System — turned herself in to prison officials as of Wednesday morning, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons' website.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Roskovski has been incarcerated at Alderson, a federal prison in Summers County, W.Va. Roskovski is imprisoned about 250 miles southwest of her husband, Scott, 53, of Center Township, who is serving his sentence at FCI Cumberland in Maryland. Scott turned himself in late July.

Scott and Stephanie Roskovski were both sentenced to federal prison in June for defrauding the Butler Health System of up to $1.3 million.

Stephanie Roskovski, former chief operating officer at BHS, received a sentence that totaled to 51 months. Her release date was not available on her inmate record, but would likely be around Nov. 17, 2025.

Scott Roskovski, a former county detective, was sentenced to 30 months in total. According to his inmate record, his release date is scheduled for Sept. 5, 2023.

The Center Township couple pleaded guilty May 28, 2020, to various federal charges related to defrauding BHS during Stephanie Roskovski's employment there as chief operations officer.

As part of a plea deal with prosecutors, the couple will be allowed to keep their home and their business, Switchback MX.
