Tack 50th anniversary
Fred and Margaret Tack, of Renfrew, celebrated 50 years of marriage with their friends and family at a gathering at Mac’s Route 8 Cafe.
Tack married the former Margaret Ann White on Aug. 21, 1971, at the Meridian United Presbyterian Church.
They have four children, Frederick (Helene) Tack III of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Deborah (Roger) Knight of Harrisville; Tammy (Jack) Considine of New Hampshire; and David (Tracey) Tack of Butler.
They also have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Tack retired from Foreman Architects and Engineers in Zelienople. In retirement, he drove wheelchair vans for five years at Butler Ambulance.
Mrs. Tack retired from Armco after 46 years in accounting.
The Tacks met in the Musical Theatre Guild, where both worked on numerous shows.
The Tacks are members of Community Alliance Church.
