William Tyson

William Stephen “Ol Bill” Tyson passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital at the age of 73.

He was born June 24, 1947, in Hollywood, Calif. He was born into a military family, and had lived all over the world.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col. James Tyson; his mother, Virginia Tyson; his wife, Judith Ann (Keasey) Tyson; and his beloved dog, Jack.

He is survived by his sister, Wendy (Tyson) McCracken of Canada; his best friend and neighbor, Fran Tassey; and a multitude of close friends, whom he treated like family.

He touched the lives of everyone who knew him, and always greeted them with a smile and a piece of candy or little trinket that he thought they would enjoy.

He was an avid animal lover, always having dog biscuits on hand for his four-legged buddies around the neighborhood.

He was an amazing person and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace “Billy Two Bears.”
