Rose A. Heckert
Rose A. Heckert, 90, of Butler, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at her residence.
Born Jan. 31, 1931, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Comella Lascuola.
She was a member of All Saints Parish. In addition, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers.
Rose was a homemaker. She was also formerly employed at Spaide Shirt Factory, and later for 25 years at Montgomery Ward.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Urbano and her husband, Ken Killen, of New Kensington, and Cheryl Deal and her husband, Frank, of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Heckert Sr., who passed away Sept. 30, 1995; one son, William J. Heckert Jr.; one daughter, Constance “Connie” Bergbigler; one grandson, William J. Heckert III; seven brothers; and two sisters.
HECKERT — Friends of Rose A. Heckert, who died Monday, July 26, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. Daniel R. Waruszewski officiating. You are welcome to meet at the church.
Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
