Roger J. Hansotte, 95, of Butler, passed away on July 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 27, 1926, in Butler, he was the son of George Hansotte and Marie Lhote Hansotte.

Roger served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe, and he also served in Korea.Roger worked as a chemical engineer for Blawnox Engineering/Dravo.He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, The American Society of Chemical Engineers and the VFW.Roger and Marge traveled extensively. He enjoyed studying World War II history. He also enjoyed golfing and tennis.Surviving are his wife, Margaret Krisiak Hansotte; his sister, Elaine Ludwiczak of Natrona Heights; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Georgette Gulotta.HANSOTTE — Friends of Roger J. Hansotte, who died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
