Patricia “Pat” E. Pegher, 78, of Pine Township, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

Pat died from the effects of inclusion body myositis, which she battled for twelve years. Pat will long be remembered as the high school cheerleader who in 78 years never lost her spirit, even in the face of adversity. “I never heard her complain,” is a mantra that friends and family attribute to this selfless, giving, God-loving woman.

Pat is survived by her husband, James “Jim” V. Pegher; their four children, Douglas, Jamie, Philip, Brett; and 12 beloved grandchildren.

PEGHER — Family and friends of Patricia “Pat” E. Pegher, who died Thursday, July 29, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, 10418 Perry Hwy., Wexford.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Alphonsus Church (St. Aidan Parish) Wexford. Everybody please meet at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Pat’s family asks that, in remembrance of her loving nature, you perform an act of kindness for a friend, family member or neighbor.
