Dean Minto

Dean M. Minto, 51, of Butler passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

He was born Aug. 19, 1969, in Butler, and was the son of the late Martin Minto Jr. and Audrey (Bayer) Shuler.

He was a graduate of Butler High School.

Dean worked as a union painter for the majority of his career.

He loved football and sports, especially the Steelers. He was funny, intense, and an extremely passionate person. He was loved and will be forever missed.

Dean was the father of Samantha Allen; brother of Brian (Heidi) Minto; and half-brother to Anthony Kovocovsky and Lisa Stults.

Dean is also survived by a large and loving family, and a host of friends.

MINTO — Friends of Dean M. Minto, who died Saturday, July 31, 2021, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
