Barbara K. McKean, 76, of Zelienople, passed away Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, while under the care of Elmcroft of Chippewa.

Born Nov. 15, 1944, in Harrison Township, she was the daughter of the late John Filous and Dorothy Wolfe Filous.

Barb enjoyed reading and crafting. She also enjoyed peaceful walks.

Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Tracy L. McKean of Fredericksburg, Va., and Dana S. Hayson and her husband, George, of Fombell; her grandchildren, Abbie, Stephanie, Benjamin, Emily and Jenna; her three great-grandchildren; her sister, Patty Findon of Natrona Heights; her brothers, Robert Hines and Leonard Orzechowski of Iowa; and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. “Pat” McKean, who passed away June 14, 2005.

MCKEAN — Services for Barbara K. McKean, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, will be held privately by the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
