Anne M. Hockenberry, 86, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021.

She was born on May 22, 1935, in Culmerville, Pa., and was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Kobik.

Anne enjoyed bowling, gardening and canning. She loved visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anne was known for spending Sundays making homemade pizza, which she loved to do.

She was the mother of Edward Hockenberry Jr., Kimberly Thoma, Gary Hockenberry and Tomas (Jill) Hockenberry; grandmother of Bradley, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Angelica, Cierra, Savanna and Alivia; and great-grandmother of Brycen, Brody, and was expecting a third great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Edward Hockenberry, who passed on Nov. 24, 2020; two brothers; and one sister.

HOCKENBERRY — Burial services for Anne M. Hockenberry, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, will be held privately at Butler County Memorial Park.
