Deborah Spisak

Deborah Arlene Spisak, 72, of Sunnyview Home in Butler and formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away at Sunnyview Home on Friday, July 30, 2021.

She was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Harlan, Ky., to Roy McMillion and Fanny Payne McMillion.

She married John S. Spisak Sr. on June 1, 1968, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2015.

She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

She enjoyed painting, drawing, and making special pictures with yarn.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Nipper, Starlene Frances (Chris) Kartes, and Lori (James) Meyers of Butler; a son, Shenan D. (Jodi) Spisak; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Sr.; two sons, Loren Vale and John Jr.; two brothers, Ted and Horbert; and three sisters, Dorus, Eurada and Laruga.

SPISAK — The services for Deborah Arlene Spisak, who died Friday, July 30, 2021, were privately held due to pandemic circumstances.

There will be no public viewing or visitation service.

Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.
