Carolyn Zupan
Carolyn E. Zupan, of Munhall, formerly of Butler and Duquesne, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord Jesus Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at the age of 71.
Carolyn was born on Sept. 25, 1949, and was the daughter to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Weidenhof) Savannah.
She was a 1967 graduate of Butler High School, and was previously employed as a claims secretary for the Nationwide Insurance Company of Butler.
She was the beloved wife of 50 years of Joseph W. Zupan Sr.; loving mother of Joseph (Brooke) Zupan Jr. and Angela (Dan) Hafen; grandmother of Jameson and Ava Hafen, and Joseph III and Olivia Zupan; sister of Ronald (late Norma) Savannah, George (Betty) Savannah, Cecelia (Tony) Grenek, Virginia (late Larry) McCracken, Marsha (late Ken) (significant other, Gary Bosley) Bauer, and the late Rosemarie (late Mike) Spohn; and sister-in-law of John (Rita) Zupan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carolyn loved being a wife, mother and grandma, and she dearly cherished all of her family. “Heaven just received a beautiful soul.”
Zupan — Family and friends of Carolyn E. Zupan, who died Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, 3501 Main St., Munhall.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Holy Name Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Duquesne.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.
