Marianne Killmeyer

Marianne L. Killmeyer, 88, of Butler passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 6, 1933, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Rene J. and Nellie (Hansotte) Fogel.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the CD of A.

She worked at the Ford Motor Garage in her early years.

She loved to play bridge and bowling. She also loved to play pinochle with her family, and enjoyed watching the birds. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers.

Surviving is her husband, John “Jack” Killmeyer, whom she married Sept. 15, 1956. They would have been married 65 years.

Also surviving are two daughters and two sons, Vicki (John) Clouse and Amy (Terry) Clark, both of Butler, and John (Jerry) Killmeyer of Virginia Beach, Va., and David (Karen) Killmeyer of Vienna, Va.

She loved her nine grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Jason, Renée, Ben, Danielle, Rachel, Samuel and Jillian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers.

KILLMEYER — There will be no visitation for Marianne L. Killmeyer, who died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.

Arrangements were entrusted to Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
