Patrick M. Holben
Patrick M. Holben, 64, of Butler, passed away, Tuesday evening, Aug. 31, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born April 27, 1957, in Butler, he was a son of the late Robert W. Holben and Ruth E. (Ostrander) Holben.
Pat was a graduate of Butler High School, and had worked for St. Conrad Church for more than 40 years.
He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, and the American Legion 778 in Lyndora. He had organized the Meridian Thursday night golf league at Aubrey's Golf Course for 20 years, as he loved to play golf. He was an avid sports fan, and especially loved watching hockey, Pitt basketball and Pitt football, and enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen D. (Rivers) Holben, whom he married Nov. 26, 1983; one son, Michael P. (Emily Rensel) Holben of Butler; three brothers, Clarence (Linda) Holben of Butler, James (Cindy) Holben of Chicora, and Gerald (Tammy) Holben of Hooker; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ziggy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Holben.
HOLBEN — Family and friends of Patrick M. Holben, who died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, will gather from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A blessing service will follow at 4 p.m. at funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
