Shirley L. Osche
Shirley L. Osche, 73, of Saxonburg, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.
Born Dec. 18, 1947, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Clair Cooper and Lucille Oesterling Cooper.
Shirley was a faithful member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She belonged to the Saxonburg Women's Club and the Greater Pittsburgh GTO Club.
In her free time, she enjoyed baking, volunteering at church, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her friends from card club. Above all, Shirley loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 55 years, Orvil A. Osche, whom she married on June 4, 1966; her children, Mark (Rhonda) Osche of Plum Borough, and Lisa Steavens of New Kensington; her grandchildren, Hunter, Jordyn, Shawn, Ryan and James-Douglas; her brothers, Kenneth (Nancy) Cooper of New York, Walter Cooper of Butler, and James (Janet) Cooper of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Cooper.
OSCHE — Friends of Shirley L. Osche, who died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler. Everyone is asked to please meet at church.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Herman.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
