Kelsey J. Nagel

Kelsey J. Nagel, 35, of Butler, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. She lost her courageous battle from mental health disease of depression and addiction. Kelsey was also fighting against Crohn’s disease.

She was born June 26, 1986, in Butler, the daughter of Jerry Nagel and Susan Emery.

She graduated from Karns City High School in 2003. Kelsey was the proud mother of two sons, whom she loved to the moon and back. She was the joy of her mother’s life who loves her more than the whole wide world and back again.

Surviving are her mother, Susan of Pittsburgh; her father, Jerry and her stepmother, Heidi of Sligo; her sons, Trent and Gavin; her brother, Chad (Billie Jo) Nagel; her nephews, Troy and Zac; her half-sister, Jocelyn (Kyle) Bailey and nephews, Carter and Dawson; and her uncles, David and Michael (Sheila) Emery. She was known to her great-aunts, Betts, Georgia and Carol as their “Little Princess.” She also is survived by many cousins.

She has been welcomed into heaven by her Nana and Pappy Emery and her Grandma Kathy Nagel.

Nagel — There will be no services at this time for Kelsey J. Nagel, who died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. Her family will have a celebration of her life at a later time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
