Paul L. Gladd

Paul L. Gladd, 57, of Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 14, 1963, in Butler, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Carol M. (Spohn) Gladd.

Paul was a graduate of Butler High School. He was employed as a laborer with the former AK Steel until his retirement in January 2020.

He enjoyed hunting, collecting sports and music memorabilia and antiques. Paul loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandchildren and attending all their events.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Marci L. (Conklin) Gladd, whom he married on Nov. 5, 1983; daughter, Megan M. Hankey and her husband, Philip, of Butler; two sons, Chad P. Gladd and his wife, Melissa, of Butler and Paul A. Gladd of Butler; and four grandchildren, Katelyn, Mason, Blake and Gage.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debra Cress.

Gladd — Friends and family of Paul L. Gladd, who died Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will follow Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
