William Bierau

William J. “Bill” Bierau, 83, of Richland Township, Gibsonia, passed away on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at his home.

Born Oct. 31, 1937, in Mars, he was the son of the late Carl and Lillian Huntsinger Bierau.

Bill worked as a supervisor for Exxon in Bakerstown for many years.

He belonged to the men's bowling league in Mars. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, hunting, fishing and bowling, but above all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his children, Penni Bierau of Guys Mills, Pa., Jill Hutton (Martin) of Gibsonia, and James Bierau (Jude) of Naples, Fla.; his grandchildren, Trevor, Brittney, Randy, Brooke, Courtney and Joshua (Ashley); and his great-grandchildren, Taylor, John David, Vanessa, Isaac, Alyssa, Randy James, Kaylee, Rylan, Mariah, Gionna, Zoe, Marissa, Seth and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith E. “Judi” Bierau, whom he married on July 2, 1965, and who died on Oct. 4, 2018; a grandson, Trenton; and a great-grandson, Marque.

BIERAU — Friends of William J. “Bill” Bierau, who died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
