David Allan Eckert

David Allan Eckert, 65, of Prospect died suddenly of natural causes on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at his residence.

Dave was born Feb. 5, 1956, in Ellwood City, and was the son of Edward Henry Eckert and Jewel Grace Taylor Eckert Shick.

Dave had been a truck driver in the steel industry and at one time, worked for Earl Hunt Carnival Co.

He was an avid hunter, loved country music and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include one brother, John (Charlene) Eckert of Butler; and six sisters, Yvonne Bowser of East Brady, Sara Foust of Saxonburg, Patricia Angerett of Butler, Barbara Link of Mount Pleasant, Frances Robinson of Butler and Kathy (Randy) Kniess of Butler.

David was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edward Eckert; and two sisters, Margaret Greenway and Annabelle Gill.

ECKERT — Visitation for David Allan Eckert, who died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect.

Graveside services are being planned and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray the funeral expenses to Jay Bryan Funeral Home, P.O. Box 303, Prospect, PA 16052.
