Donald Nowakowski

Donald A. Nowakowski, 59, of Butler passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

He was born in Butler, to Donald and Mary Nowakowski.

Donald worked as a diesel mechanic for numerous years and also worked for Filmtronics Inc. for a large portion of his career.

He enjoyed sports, especially Steelers football and Penguins hockey.

Donald was known for being a hard worker, who could fix anything. His favorite pastime was farming and loved nothing more than being “Pap” to his grandchildren.

Don was the beloved husband to Beth A. (Slupe) Nowakowski; father of Dustin (Chelsea) Bowser and Emily Nowakowski (Chris Hoburg); and grandfather of Nataley, Vivienne, Ava and Ryder.

He is also survived by his sister, Molly (Keith) Wilbert.

NOWAKOWSKI — Friends of Donald A. Nowakowski, who died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
