Larry Robert Kline

Larry Robert Kline, 79, of Center Township, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, in the comfort of his home.

Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harry and Vivian Emma Jean Hockenberry Kline-French.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed at the coil warehouse at Armco from 1966 to 2000 and then drove bus for Valley Bus Lines from 2000 until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora and the BPOE Elks Lodge 170 in Butler. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and working on HO train displays. Above all, Larry will be remembered as a simple man who loved being with his wife and family. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Marie Pichler Kline who he married on July 28, 1979; his daughter Tammy (Ronald) Henry of Butler; his grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Hemphill and Alison (Jason) Bouse, Ashley (Brandt) Fleming and Abigail (Noah) Claypool; his five great-grandchildren; his brother, Tom Kline; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Dick, Randy and Ronnie.KLINE — A committal service for Larry Robert Kline, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
