Police investigate an incident Saturday night in Evans City that sent one person to the hospital by medical helicopter.

EVANS CITY — Police were conducting an investigation at a home on the 300 block of West Main Street, following a commotion earlier Saturday evening.

According to neighbors and passersby, they saw at least one person taken by medical helicopter from the scene.

According to authorities, Evans City Police are leading the investigation, but state police were at the scene as well as officers from the Zelienople and Adams Township departments.

Multiple cruisers and a state police van were parked in front of the house, located a few lots east of the Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home.

Police were not able to speak at the scene Saturday night, as the investigation was still ongoing.
