Kathleen Parkin

Kathleen M. Parkin, 70, of Ebensburg, formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at UMPC Altoona.

Born March 31, 1951, in Butler, she was the daughter of Ernest Sr. and Violet (Szkult) Ball.

Throughout her career she was a district manager for many businesses and retired from Dmitri Manor for the Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Diocese in Hollidaysburg, Pa. The greatest loves of Kathy's life were her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether going to the ocean or staying at her camp.

She is survived by her husband Richard “Dick”; children, Michael (Shannon) Guidotti of Butler and Lena Guidotti of Ebensburg; four grandchildren, Kirk (MiKayla), Jarod, Layne and Isabella; and one great-grandchild, Rowan. She was the sister of Tammy (Geraldo) Gutierrez and Richard “Rick” Ball, all of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Brenda Velasquez; and brother, Thomas “Chuckie” Ball.

PARKIN — At her request, there will be no public viewing for Kathleen M. Parkin, who died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.
