Ruth Ann Campbell

Ruth Ann Campbell, 80, of Winfield Township, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, while surrounded by her family at her home.

Ruth was born Dec. 28, 1940, in Natrona Heights, and was a daughter of the late Naomi (Bell) and Ralph Shick. She lived her entire life in the Cabot area.

She was a 1959 graduate of Knoch High School.

She had worked for a brief time at Du-Co Ceramics before getting married and starting her family.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She attended Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church in Butler.

Ruth enjoyed working outside around her home. She liked taking trips to the mountains to watch the leaves change, and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to craft shows with her sister, Marilyn.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Ernest P. Campbell Jr.; her son, Ernest Campbell IV of Winfield Township; her daughter, Debra Lynn Campbell of Clearfield Township; her grandchildren, Bethanne Marie Campbell, Kara and her husband, Zachary Dillon, and Tyler Campbell; her great-grandchildren, Autumn Rayne Campbell, Kayden Skaggs, and Kallie and Nathaniel Dillon; two sisters, Marilyn Phillips of Butler, and Susan and her husband, Steven Vornov, of Virginia; and two brothers, Robert Shick of Butler, and Danny Shick of New Castle.

CAMPBELL — Family and friends of Ruth Ann Campbell, who died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Monday at Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Road, Butler.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Paul Fish officiating.

Burial will be held in Mount Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Road, Butler, PA 16002.
