Jonathan Supler
Jonathan Supler, 65, of Palm Coast, Fla., passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2021.
Jonathan was born April 10, 1956, in Pittsburgh, to Dr. Will Supler and Marguerite Supler.
Jon grew up in Butler, and graduated from Butler High School in 1974.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Jacksonville in 1978.
Jon moved to Houston, Texas, and then settled in Raleigh, N.C., where he started his own home inspection company, “Residential Construction Company (RCC).” Jon remained a well-known and respected home inspector in North Carolina. Jon retired in 2020, and relocated to Palm Coast, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son-in-law, Kenneth DelRosario.
He is survived by his former spouses, Elizabeth Supler of Houston, Texas, and Susan Johnson of Four Oaks, N.C.; his partner, Susan Woodlief of Charleston, S.C.; his children, Heather McCullough (Bryan) of Houston, Texas, and Katie DelRosario (Ken) of Alexandria, Va.; his siblings, Blaise Supler (Carl Jess) of El Paso, Texas, Timothy Supler (Beverly) of Newport News, Va., and Marguerite (Maggie) Mullen (Tim) of Saxonburg; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Mullen (Leanne) of Glenshaw, Andrew Mullen of Saxonburg, Eva and Trevor Jess of El Paso, Texas, and Keith Kenyon of Cabot; and his grandchildren, Cora and Colt McCullough of Houston, Texas.
Jon was an avid reader, and an active swimmer, biker and runner. He completed numerous triathlons, ironman triathlons, marathons, and ultra-marathons throughout his life, including the Marathon Des Sables with his sister, Blaise, in the Sahara Desert. He was a talented carpenter and potter, and enjoyed building his own computers and driving hot rods and Harley Davidsons.
Jon had a kind heart, and always tried to look out for the underdogs in life. His sense of humor was well appreciated by all who knew him.
