Regis L. Smith

Regis L. Smith, 69, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.

He was born on March 2, 1952, in Butler, and was the son of the late Cornelius and Mary Smith.

Regis was a hardworking bricklayer. He worked for Local BAC 9.

Regis enjoyed hunting and fishing, but loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Jenkins) Smith, whom he married in 1978; father of Nicole (Zane) Reynolds, Tricia Smith and Joshua Smith; and the brother of Margaret (Leo) Geibel, Debra (James) King, Betty Gregor, Guy (Kathy) Smith, Rory (Deborah) Smith, Brian (Tammy) Smith and Larry Smith.

Regis is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Smith and Patricia Smith.

SMITH — Friends of Regis L. Smith, who died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
