Judith Pennington

Judith Elaine Pennington, a resident of Palmetto, Fla., and formerly of Sarver, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Judie was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary McGrady.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1959.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Pennington. Together they had their son, Edward (Denise) Pennington of Tidioute, and a daughter, Lee Anne Pennington of Springdale.

She was also the proud grandmother of Zachary (Kali) Pennington and Erin (Grant) Evans, as well as great-grandmother to Blake Pennington.

Judie is survived by her loving sister, Barb (Jeff) Hartzell of Butler, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her other sisters, Doris (Dave) Vanetta, Mary (Floyd) Walter and Jackie (Ed) Rogers; as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She had a love for bingo, beautiful Florida palm trees, and her family.

The family of the Penningtons wishes to thank Manatee Memorial for their outstanding care of Judie.

PENNINGTON — Per her wishes, there will not be any services for Judith Elaine Pennington, who died Monday, Nov. 1, 2021,

Judith wished donations to be given in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
