Ronald Leonberg
Ronald Gene Leonberg, 80, of Mars, passed away on Thursday morning, Nov. 4, 2021, at the Orchards of Saxonburg.
Born Aug. 3, 1941, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harold and Stella Brandstetter Leonberg.
Ron had been a shipper for Mine Safety in Callery.
He was a social member of the Mars VFW.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Fay Tayman Leonberg, whom he married on Nov. 6, 1965; a son, Robert D. Leonberg of Mars; three sisters, Trudy Buczkowski of Zelienople, Donna Fleek of Florida, and Nancy Trenton of Cleveland, Ohio; and two brothers, John Leonberg of Evans City, and David Leonberg (Pat) of Fombell; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Scharrer, Sally McMillen and Betty Haney; and his brothers, Robert and Harold.
LEONBERG — Friends of Ronald Gene Leonberg, who died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
